The file Excalibur-manual.tex is a LaTeX file. If you don't know what
that is or you don't have the facilities to print it, you can get the
manual in other formats.
You can get a copy of the manual in Acrobat Reader format from
<ftp://ftp.eg.bucknell.edu//pub/mac/Excalibur-manual.pdf.sit.hqx>
If you want the manual in PostScript and compressed with gzip, use the
following link:
<ftp://ftp.eg.bucknell.edu//pub/mac/Excalibur-manual.ps.gz>
If you want a PostScript version of the manual that has
been compressed with StuffIt, use the following link:
<ftp://ftp.eg.bucknell.edu//pub/mac/Excalibur-manual.ps.sit.hqx>
You can also double click on the file called "Excalibur manual". This
will point Netscape to the HTML version of the manual that is
available from Bucknell. This is identical to the version that you
get from downloading the following file:
<ftp://ftp.eg.bucknell.edu//pub/mac/Excalibur-manual-html.sit.hqx>
If you select Excalibur Manual from Excalibur's Help menu, this
version of the manual will open in your default browser. If you
download your own copy of the HTML version of the manual, you can have
Excalibur use your local copy of the manual when you select Excalibur
Manual from the Help menu. To do this, you will need to change string
3 in Excalibur's STR# 310 resource. If you don't know what this
means, then you shouldn't try it!
If you decide to format the manual using LaTeX, you will need
html.sty and url.sty which are included in this folder.
